where is the engine block drain plug located?

Hello,

You will need to pull a freeze plug or block heater if installed to drain the block on the 6.8l Ford motor. I attached a picture showing its location. Follow the plug wire to get to the proper spot on the driver side of the motor. Unplug the wire and remove the heater from the block. Be sure to reinstall the heater with the proper sealant.

Thanks a lot. I have 2 questions: First, what's the "proper sealant" to use to reinstall the heater? Second, how many freeze plugs does the 6.8L engine have? and do you have an image of where the freeze plugs are located? thanks

Just here to add. I've attached a picture below of the proper sealant requirement. As far as freeze-expansion plugs there are at least a total of ten. There will be one located in the water jacket of each cylinder on the engine block. It would help better to get access to a Haynes or Chilton repair manual to find exact information or location.
