I received it just like this:
No battery.
No glove box.
No A/C compressor.
Lots of plugged vacuum lines under hood.
All or most engine cover plastics in trunk.
A/t shift boot partially removed.
I am assuming shift linkage is unattached as car was pushed to my house.
Issue as follows:
Installer battery-- all lights work.
That is pretty much it.
Key turns free. Shifter will not budge. No clicks no buzz nothing.
Owner says he shorted something out about a year ago. He cannot remember why or where.
Thinks he was installing stereo or replacing A/C.
Asked him to stop using fuel as performance enhancer on himself and would see what I can do.
Please also note, that I did just figure out that any key will turn this ignition and the new key does not have a transponder in it. could it be just stuck in security mode?
