Can you tell me what the circled pipe for? I noticed that this pipe was not connected on one side.
Can you also tell me if it connects to any thing and if not connected to anything will the van start.

We don't have a manual on your vehicle so we are not able to look it up but I am sure we can figure it out. It appears to go into the exhaust or turbo so it may be an oil line or just a breather. Can you get a closer picture of the end that is not attached to anything and then look and find out what the other end attaches to as well?

With this info we will be able to know for sure what it is. Thanks

Hi,

I managed to get an image of where the pipe starts ang goes.
I think it starts from the engine and goes to the fuel tank.
I do not know the name of the part see images.

My van turns but it will not start unless I am using the fuel priming pump when the key is turned to start the engine like there is no fuel pressure.

That does look a little large to be a fuel line. Is it metal or rubber?

However, if we are not getting fuel and that can connect to the fuel tank then clearly that could be an issue. But when you start and run the vehicle on starter fluid does anything come out of the line?

Hi.
The pipe is made of rubber. I used easy start and the engine turns, stares, revs and cuts out. Nothing comes out of the pipe. I checked the fuel filter and primed the system from the hand pump with the ignition on, so fuel comes from the fuel tank to the filter. I think the problem is after the fuel filter.

Maybe air in the injectors or the fuel rail. I also tested all the relay switches in the engine compartment fuse box and they are all good.

I am still wondering what the pipe is for but seen an engine without the converter.
It might connect to the engine where the red dot is.

I am waiting on answers from other sources nothing back yet.

Okay. That is an emissions line. Unfortunately we don't have a manual for this vehicle as it is not offered here in the USA but I bet if you get the engine started and put your finger over it, there will be a vacuum on it. If not then most likely the vacuum source will be on the other end.

Is this engine installed in the vehicle or are you just getting pictures from other vehicles you find on the internet? If it is not installed in the vehicle, I would suggest just waiting until you have installed and then I bet the line will line up with what it is supposed to hook to.
