1999 1.4 EFI Petrol(C14SE) Opel corsa B (In Australia it's a Holden Barina SB) 135000km has been dead miss on cylinder 2 when cold start (air temp 10 deg C) for about 20 to 30 seconds, then runs all cylinders ok. It has been doing this for the last 2 months. Once it's warm its right for the rest of the day. Have tried replacing the spark plugs. I am thinking it may be a sticky fuel injector. It has been running on 91 octane 10% ethanol for the last 5 years in city driving.
Cylinder compresison test dry is as follows.
1 152psi, 2 145psi, 3 165psi, 4 162psi.
I am currently (as of yesterday) trying Wynns fuel injector cleaner with 98 octane fuel to try and clean it up. I have noticed a good increase in power but it still misses for a short while on a cold start.( First start in the morning) . Your help would be apreciated.

We do not have any information on your vehicle so I do not know the details of the engine and hope my answer helps.

When starting from cold, misfiring are mainly spark or compression related.

Both cylinder 1 and 2 shows a lower compression than 3 and 4 and if the valve clearances are adjustable, I would suggest having them checked and adjusted if necessary. If it is hydraulic lifters, the valve might be leaking slightly.

Check the spark plug cables if any is used. Have them ohmed ut and note the resistance. They should have continuity and not more than 15 k ohms.
