Wheel and tire combination

I have the vehicle listed above with new 235/70/R16 tires on 5 hole pattern wheels that are deteriorating.

I want to know if new Jeep wheels that had 245/75/R16 tires on them will take the current tires.

Thoughts?

Hi and thanks for using 2CarPros.

As long as the wheel diameter is the same, you should not have any trouble mounting tires. However, confirm that the lug nut pattern is the same as well as offset. If the offset is much different, it can cause the tires to rub on the inside or on the fender well. If the lug nut pattern is not the same, you will not be able to put them on the vehicle.
