Was backing out of the driveway car started acting funny. smoke started coming out from under the hood. pulled back in driveway shut the car off. Open the hood belt for AC and alternator was burnt, the AC pulley froze. put a new belt to bypass AC started the car check engine light came on, tachometer not reading, no temperature, green key light flashing. engine running poorly. hooked up ODB reader got operations error. Replaced condenser fuse. Unhooked negative cable on battery for ten minutes, same results. Checked other fuses all seem okay. Pulled immobilizer fuse. car would not start, put back immobilizer fuse car started, but still running poorly and same result. unhooked battery overnight and still same results.

Hello,

This could be a problem with the immobilizer ignition system. I have included a description of the immobilizer's operation. Troubleshooting the system though requires a Honda Scan tool called a HDS, so I didn't include any factory troubleshooting guide along with everything else. Please go through the information and get back to us with what you decide to do or if we can help in any other way.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

Unfortunately there is no diagnostic troubleshooting without the HDS from Honda. Please keep us informed as to your vehicle's status.

Thanks,
Alex
