Hey one day i was driving down the road and i got uit off and had to swerve. As i did so i hit a curb. When i took it to a shop they said i needed a rear stabilizing rod. Ive searched for the part but no name match. Whats another name for the part?

They're probably referring to an anti-sway bar, also called a stabilizer bar. It reduces the tendency for the body to lean when going around high-speed corners.
