1990 Dodge Ramcharger, 318, 2WD, with overdrive. Which leads me to believe I have the A518 Torqueflite transmission. It has the 727 oil pan configuration. I believe the torque converter is going out and want to replace it. Problem is I do not know which torque converter I need. Is it the 10" or 11" lock-up or non lock-up? It seems that I have found many conflicting articles on this topic. Any help would be appreciated.

according to our manual if you have a 5.2L then it is an A999 if it's a 5.9L it'sa 727 a 727 is the only one that uses a lock up converter or without depending on GVWR. Yours being a 999 uses a lockup converter.
