What module or computer is this

I’m missing a module or a computer on a 1982 Jeep Wagoneer but I’m not sure which one it is.

Hello,

I can't find a 3.8L 1092 Jeep Wagoneer anywhere in my reference material, only a 4.2L for the V6 model. From the list of Control Units and Timers it looks like it is going to be the Electronic Ignition Control Unit. I have included the list of your vehicle's Control Units in the diagrams listed below. Please go through it and get back to us with what you are able to find out.

The battery it’s on the opposite side. I had a couple of other opinions that it might be the engine control computer or the transmission control module.

Okay. Sorry my bad. I sent along the list of control units for your vehicle and their location with the last reply. Based on that list, the only thing it could be, a would think, would be the ECM (computer). Get back to us with what you find out, please.
