What is the metallic rattle?

Hi,

I listened to the audio, and I did hear something. Is the sound coming from under the vehicle? If it is, have you checked heat shields to make sure one isn't ratting? Also, the insides of the catalytic converter may have come loose and is moving around. Have you noticed any drivability issues such as a loss of power?

Try this. Take a rubber mallet and tap in the exhaust system to see if you can reproduce the sound. Also, take a look through this link. It describes the different symptoms of a failing catalytic converter.
