Brake and battery light to blink on and off while driving

While driving the brake and battery light blinks at the same time. I went to check the charging system at AutoZone the battery, alternator and everything was perfect. What could be the problem?

It sounds like the brake fluid is low can you check it for me? and if so you probably need new front brakes. Here is a guide:
