What could be the reason for p0345 p0349?

Look I’ve already replaced the timing 4 times, alternator 3 times. sensors, pigtail, pcm, and just about everything else yall could even remotely say is the problem and I promise none of these are the issue. It’s already been to 4 dealers and 3 shops. No one can figure it out. Was told to sell the car but I got more money in modifications and maintenance than it is worth selling the car. P0349 disappears when clearing the code while p0345 stays. P0349 comes back when you turn the car off then back on. The second I clear the p0349 code. The driver side camshaft seems to come back to 100% power then it’ll lose its power and p0349 comes back after awhile. Cam phasers have been replaced with every single known part store part and now has the ford performance kit. It’s not a timing or phaser issue. I’ve already tried jumping either wire from bank 1 to bank 2 and the codes still don’t disappear. I’ve tried looking for wire damage in the harness and could not find anything. No wires are being pinched either. I’ve been having this issue for almost 2 years now and anytime I bring it up I get told about the basic problem it could be even tho I’ve done said it 7 times I’ve replaced these parts more than a handful of times and still nothing. I’ve already done the reprogram for all the sensors. There’s no exact ticking noise. Just sounds like the driver camshaft isn’t in full power until I clear those codes

Hello,

So the sensors or wiring is not the problem, the problem is the timing chain system having "play" this allows the camshaft to not be in the correct position consistently, I know you said I replaced the timing, does this mean the chain, guides and tensioners? If not this is the problem.

P0349 - Camshaft Position Sensor Intermittent - Bank 2

When this happens: Sensor signal becomes erratic PCM throws P0345 / P0349, can I ask if the engine makes a slight rattle noise at idle? if so the system is not secure which will cause this code, if you are not sure please upload a short video from under the hood of the engine idling cold, this will help me see what the problem is. Yes the chains, guides and tensioners have been replaced multiple times. Currently has the ford performance timing kit that got installed about 2 weeks ago. I’m able to get the car over 100mph with no issue. Currently does have mutha thumper cams with no tune. Thought the camshafts were messed up so decided to upgrade them when doing the timing and still have the issue. I will be getting a tune soon enough before I can post a video. Car idles and drives great with no timing or phaser noise: Does have a 5-10% loss in power until I clear the p0349 code. Something in the motor bay either dis engages or engages but I can hear something move when I clear the code. Vct filter is clean and is also new.

Nice work, it looks good, so with those cams you will need the tune, I don't think anything mechanical is the problem. Does it have a loppy idle? Also, did you replace the lifters as well when you did the camshaft?

I’ll post a few videos of the car running without no tune and maybe you can hear something that’s not normal that I can’t hear

Yep, that sounds good. So this can make the codes appear without the tune, once the tune is done you should not have any more issues. Thanks for the video it helps. Good job on the engine work. Did you replace the lifters as well when you did the camshaft? Melling had a problem with counterfeit parts FYI, it on there website as a warning.

Lifters were replaced with the rocker arms about 30k miles ago. I talked to the tuner and he doesn’t think the tune will get rid of the codes. Will make it driveable again the same way it was with stock cams but my hunt for the problem still continues. Only 2 things I can think of now is replacing the now broken radio suppression on the timing cover and a new oem alternator. Even with the big 3 wire upgrade, the lights still dim badly with the stock 1000w system and have been told the diode going bad can cause this code to pop up. But I don’t have a check charging light or any other alternator symptoms. Just a few voltage issue codes my old ass scanner picks up every once in awhile.
