That would suggest an intake manifold gasket or head gasket.That is a pretty major repair job. If you want to do the repairs yourself I can send you step-by-step instructions with pictures. I am sure a shop would charge you roughly $1,500.00 for this repair (head gasket). I have attached a tutorial for intake gaskets. Hope this helps and feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for your reply Danny. I think you might be right on with the intake. Did leak down test on bank 2 with little to no results. No effect on coolant in reservoir. Thanks again.

Hi Danny. You were right, it was the intake manifold. Leaking on all cylinders on bank 2 and cylinder seven on bank 1. Now what would be the best method to clean out the sludge it produced? Have a whole lot of scraping to do on the head but what about the rest of the motor?

As far as on metal surfaces you can use aerosol cleaners (Brakleen, Gunk,etc) without any problems. Be very careful what you use on a plastic intake manifold. I would suggest something like Simple Green, 409 or something like that. Certain aerosol chemicals used on plastic can possibly melt/distort/or ruin them.
