Water pump issues

Does this make the noise when the belt is off? I am not sure if you got the engine wrong in the listing but I am not familiar with the 4.1L. I don't show that as an option in the US and not familiar with that as an export engine either.

If it doesn't make the noise with the belt off then we just need to find what pulley it is or it is the belt itself.

Also, if you can get a recording of it that will help us get on the same page. Thanks

Hear noises when car is running , it's a 2.4 and 4 cylinder engine. no it's doesn't make the noise when belt was off.

Okay. Then install the belt and use a stethoscope to pin point which pulley is making this noise. Also it could be the belt so if you haven't changed it recently, it may be a good idea to start with that.

Can you get a recording of the noise? If you had an issue with the water pump and the belt got coolant on it then it will make noise because the rubber swells and causes a noise when this happens.
