Water pump replaced still leaks

I put a new water pump in but when I start it up all my fluid still leaks out somewhere near the transmission. what am I doing wrong and how is this fixed? I have no money and I'm about to lose my job because I don't have a car. please help.

There are many items that can cause coolant leakage and repairing them depends a lot on what is actually leaking. Your description could be a leaking heater line or if it's leaking from the engine itself it could be a rusted through core plug. This will give you some info on how to track down the leak. If it's something like a line you just replace it, if it's a core plug it becomes much harder as most of them require the engine be removed to gain access to the ones at the rear of the block or heads. It could also be an intake manifold leaking.

For all of the above the first step will be tracking down the actual location of the leak. For that a light and mirror are handy or one of the cheap inspection cameras they make that plug into a tablet phone or pc. Try this guide and see if you can find the actual leak area:
