Water pump replaced now leaking in upper tube

Water pump replaced now leaking in upper tube . When I tried to get tube to seat i poked a small hole with screwdriver . Can I plug hole with plumbing solder ? Thanks

you can try I do not know if it will hold or not though. also tube might be aluminum so you cannot get solder to stick to that you could use the aluminum weld stuff though.
