In the beginning, could hear water sloshing behind passenger side dash when make a turn. Then water leaking in passenger side floor. Now it seams only leaking on driver side floor. Air conditioner working. Car not overheating that i am aware. Bunch of leaves on car, did not clean them off until yesterday. Last night blew air with shop vac into drain hose of evaporator core. And water came out. Do not know if water was coming out before. Water does have a reddish tint to it, but thought that was just dirt from floor. Been going on for about three weeks. Father been in hospital, did not want to be without car. Was going to try to take carpet out on my own. (fifty four year old female) lol. Got to go buy trim removal tools. Was thinking we might of fixed clogged evaporator drain hose when water came out. However, i have no idea. Been doing a lot of research now think it may be heater core, but there is water at the top of radiator. Had vacuumed out most of water then went to Walmart. Came back seems like more water in car on drivers side. Did not use A/C. Found out 2.4 l engine.

Update: water to the top in radiator. Reservoir low, added water. Do not know if it was already low.

Video i viewed showed a water hose being ran through a hose under the hood and the water came out the evaporator drain hose under car. I cannot seem to locate hose under hood. Attaching a picture of what may have something to do with it.

Had to ask another question, would not let me edit.

That i feel will be a heater hose and the problem may be a leaking heater core, this can cause coolant to leak from under the dash onto the carpet, a pressure test will show this up.
