Water was put in gas tank. Spitting sputtering and won't idle! Changed spark plugs, and fuel filter. Put 93 octane and fuel injector cleaner in it. 1993 Chevrolet corvette.......................................

scan for codes and check fuelpressure first. it shold be 41-47 psi. then just drive it or suck water out of both tanks as you have 2. not much you can do unless you drain the tanks.

Syphon the remaining gas / water....water sits at the bottom of tank...it cannot (it will not) mix with gas but it will make the car jerk once the gas level reaches the area where the water is.

Use a hose long enough to reach the bottom of the tank and syphon it.... you'll see the water coming out of the tank...stop when you see gas.

i agree... all water must be removed from tank... close to impossible without removing and draining.... you can try going the siphon route, then once you get most of the fuel and water out, fill it up with good gas, and dump a bottle of dry gas in.... it will take several cranking attempts to get the fuel lines filled with the good gas, so be patient....
