warning signs

Hi I just got my car, my first car ever need anything it was given to me and me I really don't know to much about cars, but when i first turn the car on it kinda stalls when i put it in reverse i sometimes have to place it back in drive turn the car off and then back on and slowly put it on revirse it as if i have to give it time to catch up, also theres two warning signs that pop up on is CHECK ENGINE and thee other looks like a battery with a fan on the battery looking icon.

Before you even start to drive you need to learn what all those warning lights mean. They are all there for a reason and the car shouldn't be driven until you understand why they are on. For the check engine light you need to have the stored codes read to find out why it is on.
