Codes P0300, P0302, VVT monitor bank 1 failure and multiple cylinders misfire detected?

Recently got the camshaft sensor changed followed by timing chain and valves replaced as it had jumped 4 teeth. Everything was looking fine until I added 1 liter of oil as the oil in the dipstick was just at the bottom. When I accelerated from 1,800 to 2,000 RPMs, it was not smooth, and it was jerking. Now I have the check engine light on with codes P0300 and P0302. When i ran the live diagnostics, i got VVT bank 1 monitor fail. What could have been wrong? Was I wrong to add oil? My car used to burn a lot of oil and i had to add at least 1 l after 700 miles.

The fact that the timing chain jumped 4 teeth may have bent a valve. To be sure let's do a compression test, I don't think the type of engine oil will matter.

Many thanks for your response, Ken. I replaced all the four spark plugs and there was no misfiring. In fact, the valves were changed along with the timing chain, so I didn't do compression test. All my searches lead to 1. Spark Plug, 2. Coil pack and 3. Valves. I started with the spark plug and it worked. One spark plug was looking bad with a lot of black deposit on it compared to the other three. Suspect Oil Fouling. I believe my Skoda burns a lot of oil and this should be the cause. Should I look further into the oil leak, or can I leave it here? Probably I will leave it here and buy a new car, I don't want to spend another fortune.
