VSS?

The image is a bit close but that appears to be the VSS on that transaxle. There should be a single bolt holding it and a three-wire connector. Normally located on the firewall side of the transmission.

It is on the firewall side of the transmission and has 3 cables going into it, 1 thick white, 1 thing green and yellow, one thin white. On the thin white I had +12V, on the thin green and yellow I had around 0.12V. The thick one is ground maybe? Anyways, I need a pulsating signal that is connected to the speed of the wheels, so the faster you go the faster it pulsates, like the W-port on the generator does.

The VSS on that vehicle generates should be an active sensor. Should have a power a ground and the signal out. The service info I can find doesn't show the wire functions (typical of many euro spec vehicles, they only like to give dealerships that info, everyone else gets to guess) If you have access to an oscilloscope you could check the wire output to see if it is a square wave, but it likely is being an active sensor. The catch is that if you tap that signal at the sensor, you might set an error code due to the item you connected altering the signal. Most of them don't put out a very strong signal.

So would the signal work if I hooked up an amplifier?

It would depend on the load the amplifier puts on the circuit. What are you intending to use the signal for? There might be a better option.

In Sweden we have the option to rebuild cars into a version of a tractor. It's just like a car, but it's limited to 30km/h, so I'm using an electrical component that limits the speed by using a pulsating signal from the car speed. When the car stops it switches to RPM, which I have from the generators W-port. Now all I need is the pulsating signal linked to the speed of the wheels, so the VSS.

I have constant 12v on the signal cable on the VSS, so maybe it's defect?

You would need to look at it on a scope. If it's a square wave signal it switches 12 volts on and off fast enough that a meter would just read 12 volts because it doesn't read fast enough.
