I have a 2004 XC90 2wd. It has the 2.5 turbo engine. I am trying to change the oil. The car has a plastic cap that overs the oil filter. The cap is resessed in so a normal oil filter wrench will not fit. I have bought 3 different types of wrenches trying to get it off in addition to a large chanel locks.
I have gotten nylon band type it pops off and the cap does not budge. The channel locks slip and gouge the plastic. the othe type do not work at all
Any suggestions as to how to get this stupid cap off?
