2005 Volvo XC90 Siren alram sounding

Car parked , engine off, no external disturbance BUT a really loud siren noise started - continuous noise. Key fob opens & closes car but cannot stop noise. Have had to disconnect battery to stop noise.

Does anybody know cause of this?

for now you can remove the fuse to the siren. The fuse box is on the side of dash on drivers side. Remove the panel and the chart will tell you where the siren is. But you will need to replace the siren eventually. Volvo would need to do that since they will also need to initialize the siren to your vehicle.
