I am not really familiar with generic code but do know that 700 codes are transmission problems. You may have a code for an incorrect gear ratio. Inspect the fluid. If it is burned then your transmission is done. If you have metal in the fluid or down in the pan you will also need to replace the radiator, aux cooler with the lines. You may be looking at about 20 hours labor time to repair. Also if you do decide to do the repair have them reseal the chain drive since it will eventually leak especially internally since the seal gets damaged by accident during removal of the axles.
