How Is the wood trim around the radio removed and does the indented storager compartment beside the radio snap out somehow. I am wiring an xm radio and need to get the wires out in that area.

If there are no screws apparent, it probably just pops off. Might take a little more pressure than you'd expect. Once the bezel is off, you should have a good view of what is holding the storage slot in
