2003 Volvo XC70 vibration

Which mounts did they do? Did they do all of them?

The invoice say Upper motor mount. I understand there are five motor mounts. Now, they say they will check the others...but, I have no confidence that they will find the problem.

It is hard to really say what it could be since I do not have the vehicle in front of me. Have them check the right side engine pad which is the one in front of the engine where the belt area is . See if the pad has collapsed. If the engine itself is sitting on the frame it will vibrate. If all the mounts are o.k. the only other thing I can suggest is having the subframe bushings replaced but it is a very expensive repair. We had a car with a similar problem where it vibrate and you would feel it in the steering wheel. Replacing all 4 subframe bushings fixed it. As for the window. Have them look at the regulator. Make sure it is secured properly. Also I barely recall and not sure what model it was? But I know some regulators have a damper sponge on the regulator to keep it from rubbing off the door frame. Sometimes they fall off? If they can put something back there that is similar then you should be ok. If not then you will need to replace the window regulator since the new one will have the piece of sponge on it already. It is a small sponge but they may find it if they look hard enough and try regluing. Usually if you find a good independent shop they will come up with something to put in between the regulator and the door. Well hope this helps.
