1999 Volvo V70 will not start

started car went home, chech engine light went on
next day it would not start. has fue in fuel chamber.
will turn over. battery is fully charged. could this be an oxygen sensor? front or rear of converter. I m in driveway a long way it the country. what are the steps. i will check for spark in the am thanks
