Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1999 Volvo V70 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 92000 miles

jUST BOUGHT THIS CAR, I'M EXPERIENCING VIBRATION WHEN I FIRST ACCELERATE WHICH DISAPPEARS WHEN RPM CLIMB TO 2000. ALSO CLICKING WHEN STEERING WHEEL TURNED ALL THE WAY RIGHT OR LEFT. SUSPECT CV JOINTS. CAR CAME WITH RECORDS AND I SEE NO MENTION OF CV JOINT REPAIRS. COULD THE CV JOINTS BE BAD AND NEED TO BE REPLACED? WHAT MILEAGE DO CV JOINTS FAIL, TYPICALLY?

Hello .. thanks for the donation ... much appreciated Clicking whilst turning is very indicative of CV joint wear/damage and/or loss of lubricant .. it is just as cost effective and less time consuming to replace the whole axle these day's ... there is no set time frame for CV joints/axles to wear out .. they could last 1 year or 5 years !! hope this helps
