2000 Volvo V40 Misfires on acceleration or load

First thing is first. Do you have Volvo plugs installed on this car? If you do not replace the plugs with Volvo only plugs. Other brand spark plugs will cause a misfire. Also inspect the 2 coils on the side for cracks. If that is damaged replace both coils. If plugs and coils are ok the coil harness has a capacitor inside the harness that goes bad sometimes. You can replace that part of the harness but start with the plugs and inspecting coils first and let me know what you find.
