the servo motors that control all the baldor movements for hot cold recirc fresh etc do not work and its like they arent getting the voltage signal to them but the control which is auto air when you turn the different selections for hot or cold doesnt change anything so my ? is is there a power source to this control unit that isnt in the fuse area or is it controled by other than the main control panel?

Hi
Electronic Climate Control Module is fused by fuses # 23-26-7. ECC needs to be hooked up to scan tool to find fault. Dealer best to do this.
Hope this helps

Docfixit is right. Your best bet will be going to the dealer. You could also try finding an independent Volvo repair shop if there is one around you. First thing they are going to need to do is check for is a software update to the climate control module and downlod it and recalibrate the climate unit. If no software is available then the calibration will need to be done. Usually this should take care of it unless the climate control module is offline or there is other issues involved, then further fault tracing would be needed. Try this if you want and see if it works. Disconnect both battery cables and remove the battery. Touch both the positive and the negative cables together and keep them touching each other for a couple of hours. Install battery back and see if this makes a change. If it does then it means the climate control module was offline. Take it in for a recalibration only. If it does not work then like it was mentioned before, have them check for software and calibration and maybe further dignosing if all that fails?
