1999 Volvo S80 Thermastat

Hello. I am trying to replace the Thermastat in my 1999 Volvo S80 2.9 and I am wondering where exactly the Thermastat is. I have an idea that it is at the end of the upper radiator hose on the engine block, but I wanted to make sure where it was. If you could help me that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
