2001 Volvo S60 Child Lock problem

The rear passenger side door will not open from the inside. I hit the childproof lock button and nothing from that door. The drivers side works perfectly. Any thought?

You would need to remove the door panel to inspect and see if the inner door handle cable popped out of position. If it did, you need to inspect the handle to see if it has not cracked or broken off. Also , what do you mean by pressing the child lock button? Is this manuel where you twist the lock on the side of the door or is this electrical where you push a button under the fan control panel?
