I just bought a used S40 for $6K w/ 90K miles.
1.) Antenna broke off. Is it easy for a novice to replace?
2.) Check engine light is on. Code says bank 1 oxygen sensor is bad. Should I buy the whole sensor for $150 or just the sensor for $40. Should I also replace the bank 2?
3.) I just replaced the fuel pressure regulator because the car was fluttering before it would start. Once it started, it was fine.
4.) Everytime I turn on the car, the clock/mileage resets to 12:00 pm. Is this a mechanical issue?
5.) I replaced the bulb on the interior map light but it still will not come on?
6.) When I open the hood there is a blank spot near the rear, in front of this thing that looks like an aluminum square pan. Am I missing something?
