the airbag malfunction light is on, i dont have the money to get it repaired, is there a way to disable the driver airbag?

What do you mean disable the drivers air bag? The SRS light could come on for a number of reasons. If you mean how to turn off the light, you would need a scanner that could read and reset SRS codes. You should have it diagnose since the SRS system can protect you in the event of a crash.
