2001 Volvo S40 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

In 2001 Volvo S-40 1.9T, are cylinders numbered from (facing windshield) right to left or left to right? - Misfire cylinder 4 code.

This diagram is wrong for Volvo s40 2001 1.9 turbo...the plug wire firing order is 1423..not 1342. thanks

if engine is misfiring, you may just need to replace the ignition coil and spark plugs. "misfire" fault typically does not mean the engine has a compression issue.
