I have a 2001 Volvo S40. Recently when I start the vehicle it idle's really slow and when I have it in park and step on the gas, it seems to choke up and almost shut off then the engine rev's up. Yesterday, the vehicle sat in the driveway for about 10 hours and when I went to start the car it would not turn over. This morning, I was able to start the vehicle but when I put it in reverse it would sputter and shut off. What do you think the problem is?
