Noises problem
2000 Volvo S40 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi, I was driving down the street and hit a pothole. Afterwards my car started making a sound as if something is loose, when I go over any hard bump. It sounds as if something is loose. Could you please give some ideas of what it might be?

Hi there,

you may have damaged a ball joint or a steering linkage, i would suggest that you get your mechanic to inspect this ASAP, as you don't want a steering or suspension failure while driving.
