CABIN AIR FILTER - UP TO EARLY PRODUCTION 2004 -2000 Volvo S40 CABIN AIR FILTER Removal & Installation (2000) 1.Remove the passenger side underdash soundproofing panel. See Fig. 1 . Fig. 1: Removing Soundproofing Panel (2000) Courtesy of VOLVO CARS OF NORTH AMERICA. 2.Release catch (A). See Fig. 2 . Remove the holder. Fig. 2: Releasing Catch (2000) Courtesy of VOLVO CARS OF NORTH AMERICA. 3.Pull the filter down and out. 4.To install, reverse removal procedure.
