MY CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CAME ON , I WAS RUNNING THE A/C STOPPED AT LIGHT CAR ALMOST DIED OUT THEN LIGHT CAME ON WHAT DO I DO?

if light is still on then need to use diagnostic scanner on it to see what trouble code(s) are stored.
