Hi papabulge,

Thank you for the donation.

There are 3 different cooling fan systems,
1. LH-Jetronic
2. Regina
3. Turbo.

Which is the system used in your vehicle?

What I do know is the Engine is "B230F"
Evaporative Family: RVV1058 by POA

I believe your engine is not turbo charged and it is either LH-Jetronic or Regina. The engine cooling fan relay is located on top of radiator. It is a 5 terminal relay, you mentioned replacing it, did you get the correct one? Here is a schematic of the cooling circuit.
