Electrical problem
1994 Volvo 850 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Ok I was driving today and it started to rain. So I turned my wipers on. The passenger side worked for about 1 min. before it went way down and would lift back up. The driver side started moving and just about flew off the car. What can I do to fix this problem? I looked at autozone online and found the diagram and tried to look and see if I could figure it out but not much luck. Any help would be great thank you

CHECK THE NUTS ON THE WIPER ARMS AND TIGHTENED DOWN IF NECESSARY. THEY COME LOOSE OVER TIME AND THEN THE WIPER ARM WILL NOT WORK.

Ok I had tried that. They are tight, but still do the same thing. One goes all the way down and wont come back up and the other acts like it will fly off the windshield. It really does fly past the windshield and goes all the way to the side. Rain season will be here soon and I have to fix this problem or I will not have a car to drive to school and work.

Yep I checked there too and they seem to be tight.
