The Electric Sun Roof Doesn't Open?

When I engage the switch to operate or open the sun roof, the motor is heard and a little movement from the sun roof and that it, I engage the switch again and nothing, no sound, no movement until some while later and the same cycle...? Oh, I did try another motor.

Can you help?

It seem as though I solved my own problem, just in case someone has the same problem.
The problem was in the switch on the dash board which operate the Sun Roof. I took it apart and found that the contacts weren't making good connection when current is applied. I clean them with a small steel brush and the Volvo Sun Roof is operating again, with a little small binding problem, but that's ok for now.

For future reference, check the motor that runs the sun roof, sounds like its going bad...
