the rpm's on my car are shotting up and down when i press on the gas pedal. i don't know much about cars, but it seems like it's getting no gas when i press on the accelerator. i'll get just the natural acceleration when it's idling in drive (it's an automatic) but when i try to get up any speed the rpm's go crazy. i know that my car needs a new flywheel, but i don't know if the problem is related. any and all help is greatly appreciated. thanks all.
