My Volvo 740 runs fairly smooth but when at a stop light with foot on brake it vibrates? What could be the cause and solution?

Hi there,
Just had a ford in my work shop with exactly the same problem, it had a vacuum leak at the manifold gasket, i would also check yours for a vacuum leak for this problem, start there.
