Electrical problem
1986 Volvo 740 Automatic
My old but somewhat trustworthy Volvo died on me today as I was doing some extended stop-and-go driving (I'm working for the census). I checked the water (low, so added some) and oil (fine), and started it again. It runs nicely but the battery, brake, parking brake, wipers, and burnt-out light bulb lights on the dashboard are all on and won't go off. No check engine light, and the seatbelt light works as it should. Any ideas what happened?
