Recently while driving my brake pedall went all the way to the floor and I had no brakes. When we took the Volvo to the shop they told us the Master Cylinder needed replaced. They also said the pads and everything else "brake wise" was fine. As soon as I picked the car up after the new master cylinder was put in I drove about a mile and I heard this awful grinding noise, it does it mostly when I push on the brake pedal but sometimes even in just driving. When I returned to the shop the next day they pulled the front wheels off and told me I need front brake pads and probably didnt hear any noise before because with the new cylinder the pressure is better. True? He also told me the second day that they didn't check the pads on day one, I wish they had! Could they be overlooking anything here?
