I'm having a trouble code c0472 which is low voltage circuit for the pass lock system and also the same code c0472 for the variable orifice tube low voltage circuit. it's not allowing my truck to run. how do i fix this problem? variable orifice tube has nothing to do with the A/C. it is to do with the power steering pump. thank you and God bless.

C0472 is low voltage from the steering wheel speed sensor so it wouldn't stop the engine from running that must be a separate problem that you should start a new question for. Here is how to fix the C0472 code in the images below. Check out the images (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

I'm getting the same code c0472 for the pass lock. That tells me the same thing. low voltage circuit. do you maybe have any clue why the pass lock would be having the same code with the same out come?

Did you change out the sensor at the base of the column? If so, you may have a bad BCM, you can remove it to have it tested at a rebuilder or just get a rebuilt unit, here is the location. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
