how do i adjust the sliding door on a 98 t4 transporter as it has slipped and out of line?

we do not have the spec's for this vehicle .. check you local autoparts store for a repair manual

Those sliding doors are pretty complicated but not impossible to adjust, you will have to tell me where you are having the problem, is it the front latch or the rear latch? when was the last time you lubricated the door? oil does wonders, make sure you check the lower slide and remove all of the debris on the lower roller that usually causes of the door not to close.
