The service/repair manual I have says that the service engine light will go off after repairs are made 'sometimes' thru several engine cycles. No further guidance or explanations. I had the codes P0671 and P0674 tell me there were errors two glowplugs, so I replaced all 4 while I was at it, but the service light remains on. Is this one of the repairs that I can make and the service engine light will go off after several starts/stops cycles, or do I have to have someone with a scanner clear it? Thanks
