2008 Volkswagen Rabbit Automatic

My driver seat is lock and won't move forward or backwards. I can't to figure out how to release it from the lock. i've tried to lift the lever up and nudged the seat but it won't move. Please help i can't adjust my seat to the proper length.

you have probably a foreign object the rail check and make sure there are no coins or anything else obstructing the rail also look underneath the seat and make sure you did not break to wire that goes from one end to the other of the seat you may only be releasing one side.
